Diamond Circle - Back to Akureryi

After a day of incredible sights, we headed home to Akureryi. We decided to go out for a drink and a snack. We didn't need a full dinner because we brought sandwiches, but a little appetizer was welcome.

The views on the way home didn't disappoint.

After the financial collapse that Iceland experienced, Akureryi changed their red lights to hearts. How cool!

The view from the house. The first few were taken when we arrived home from the Diamond Circle, and the darker ones from when we got home from drinks & snacks. Can't ask for a more beautiful view. 

Off to Selfoss (the town, not the waterfall) tomorrow.
